Pressure Vessel Solutions

We have manufactured and tested various types pressure vessels:

Type 3: Hydrogen, Liquid oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Xenon

Type 4: Hydrogen, Nitrous Oxide

Type 5: High pressure
The Nitrous Oxide tanks are in use, while the other tanks are being assessed for field testing

STRUCTURES
We manufacture lightweight, high-stiffness composite structures for satellite and spacecraft applications, engineered for structural integrity, dimensional stability and demanding launch and in-orbit environments. Material systems, fibre architectures and structural configurations are tailored to application-specific strength, stiffness and thermal requirements, using space-qualified materials selected to meet applicable outgassing requirements. From primary and secondary structures to precision structural components, our focus is on delivering low-mass, high-performance structures engineered for space.

OPTIC STRUCTURES
Petrawell designs and manufactures precision filament-wound composite tubes engineered around specific structural and dimensional requirements. Fibre architecture, material selection and laminate design are tailored to achieve the required combination of strength, stiffness, mass and coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE).Structures can be manufactured from aerospace-grade carbon, glass and aramid fibres, or hybrid combinations, with precision-ground outside diameters available for demanding dimensional and interface requirements.
